Knowledge – This is the content of the topics provided by Perk of the Job. It is the foundation for your learning and the base on which to build your development.

 

Understanding – This is the first step in completing your Personal Action Plan. You are reading your chosen topic – Knowledge – and now you need to make a note of at least 3 Personal Action Points. This demonstrates your Understanding of the topic as you are transferring the learning into your personal working environment.

 

Application – You have completed your Personal Action Plan, and made a note of at least 3 Personal Action Points. It is now time to apply these to your daily work. These will more often than not be applied on-going throughout your regular working day.

 

Evaluation – It is important to review – Evaluate – your Personal Action Plan regularly as there may be many new things that you have learned when reading a topic, but have decided to focus on a couple that you feel are the most relevant to you at that time.
